DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS - "Bookings Direct with Owner"
Payments and deposits vary from owner to owner but as a guide, a deposit between 10% and 50% is normally considered to be reasonable when booking in advance with the balance payable within 8 weeks of arrival. For bookings within eight weeks of arrival, the full amount is normally required in advance. Additionally most owners ask for a security deposit to cover breakages, water, electricity or telephone usage. This deposit is refundable at the end of your holiday.
PAYMENT METHODS - "Paying the owner"
Either by bankers draft, bank transfer, cheque or on-line. The owner will advise you at the time of booking. Always ask for receipts and above all, ask for written confirmation of your booking by either letter or e-mail.
DEPOSITS/REFUNDS
In case of cancellation, deposit refund policies vary from owner to owner and vary from full - part - or no refund.Please ask the owner for his policy before you confirm with deposit.
